This tour of Harlem will take you through some of the most beautiful brownstone neighborhoods in New York City, as well as famous Harlem landmarks like the Apollo Theatre! This tour will start at 135th and Lenox Ave. The best way to get there is by taking the 2 or the 3 subway line to 135th st.

The Schomburg Center for Research on Black Culture
OPEN: M-W 12:00 - 8:00, Th and F 11:00 - 6:00, Sat 10:00 - 5:00

Gospel Services at Abyssinian Baptist Church
Services are Sundays at 9am and 11am. Remember, if you go to one of their services you must dress appropriately for church and stay for the entire service. Groups under 10 do not need to make reservations. No recording or photography of any kind is permitted.

The Apollo Theater
